Appointments

Throughout the NHS, coronavirus has impacted the way we deliver our services.

We are currently experiencing a period of high demand so you may find that our phone lines are busier than usual.

The receptionist will ask you questions to ensure you are directed to the right service. Please provide as much information as possible.

Most minor ailments such as urinary tract infections, conjunctivitis, migraines, impetigo and thrush can be dealt with by a local pharmacy. You can talk to your pharmacist in confidence, even about the most personal symptoms and you don’t need to make an appointment. It is possible to walk into any community pharmacy and ask to speak with the pharmacist. They may be able to spend some time with you. Most pharmacies now have a private consultation area where patients can discuss issues with pharmacy staff without being overheard by other members of the public.

If you need to see a GP, please be aware that you will initially be offered a telephone consultation. You will be booked a face to face appointment by the Doctor if this is required. You may not always be able to talk to your preferred clinician but we endeavour to meet your requests were possible.
