Our Colleagues at Citizens Advice have complied a list of useful contact details who may be able to help you whilst they are closed over the festive period (from 4pm Friday 23rd December to Tuesday 3rd January 2023).

Mental Health Support

Anyone experiencing a mental health crisis can contact the CWP Crisis Line on: 0800 145 6485 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year).

Alternatively, someone experiencing a mental health crisis can attend, in person, Compañeros, a crisis cafe run in collaboration with Cheshire Wirral Partnership and The Spider Project.

This service is open 10am-10pm daily, 365 days a year and can be found at: 2a Price Street, Birkenhead, CH41 6JN. Please note that the last entry to Compañeros is at 8pm.

If somebody is in a life-threatening emergency, they can attend Accident and Emergency or contact 999.

Samaritans are available on 116 123 24/7, 365 days a year (freephone)

Emergency out office hours support through CADT Adult Social Care

5pm – 9am Monday – Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday. Call 0151 677 6557

Wirral Council is available on Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd December 9am – 5pm, and Wednesday 28th, Thursday 29th and Friday 30th December 10am – 4pm.
